Possible Rematch for Sai

Every boxing fan wants to see Sai get the rematch he deserves.... felt let down on friday by that decision in what was a good battle...

 

It annoys me that Jamie Cox has got that title round his waist after landing a dozen low blows and getting away with it. Point deductions are of no value if the judges are determined to give you the nod come what may.

If that man is genuinely proud of his performance that night then he doesn't deserve a place in this sport. He should be moving heaven and earth to get a rematch set up so that he can win the title properly.

 

I received this email from the commonwealth boxing council following an angry email I sent them.

Dear Mr Bellamy

Your email is one of many I have received since last Friday expressing very strong views about the judging and refereeing of last Friday's Commonwealth Lightmiddleweight Championship.
Please be advised that I have received formal complaints from both the manager of Obodai Sai and the Chairman of the Ghana Boxing Authority who himself is a Director of the Commonwealth Boxing Council. These are now under consideration and although there will a delay before any action of the CBC is announced, as a result of due process, I am confident that such decision will be made in the best interests of the contestants, our Commonwealth Championships and the image of the sport of boxing.
