It's possible Mayweather-Ortiz PPV sales will not do good

Mayweather / Ortiz should do a very good PPV, but a crappy gate because this idiot GBP put Alvarez on in the Staples Center. This means boxing fans from LA will simply go to the Staples Center to watch the Ortiz / Mayweather fight on the screen after they watch Alvarez live. But this will also boost PPV sales by at least 20-30%.

HBO through DirectTV is $59.95 for standard Def and $69.95 for HD people don't usually buy 1 or 2 days before the event and they won't know the count for 3 to 4 weeks after the event is already done. Personally, I have a hard time believing this. I think the real problem is collecting the payment. The digital data is nearly instant and the way it is delivered. I don't think HBO pays unless the customer pays so I think what is really going on is that they are counting the payments made.

(however LS is low def but free)
