Every sensible option, absolutely. Head on rushes swinging punches walking into straight rights does not count as a viable plan His gameplan was poor, and he didn't have a backup Unless people here are saying Haye is the better fighter, and should have won? What was expected? The man went in with his hands low, and tried to slip punches and land a big right, how many more risks to they want him to take I know people WANTED to see him get ko'd going for the win, but I'm sorry that isn't going to happen
im sorry bro but i dont agree with that he went into survival mode early on and wanted to last thats it...and yes ino rushing in isnt a gd gameplan..but it was a plan b which haye didnt have after plan a was shut down..
Haye was the biggest challenge for Wad as Kevin Johnson for Vitali - both brave warriors, end of thread.
I consider Haye to be the best opponent Wlad has faced yet. But Haye IS making excues. In an interview after the fight he claimed he had hurt Wlad more then Wlad had hurt him, and that this in combination with his unfair disadvantage during the fight (the pinky toe) suggests that he would win a rematch. And as annoyed as you might be with wheel chair worriers, the quote the guy with Julius Ceasar avatar digged up is authentic. Haye did all he could in the ring, but his excuses makes him pathetic.
I never said it was easy to beat Wladimir, just that Haye should at least try. I've seen other people in with Wladimir and I can certainly tell the difference between a Julio Cesar Chavez and a David Haye in the ring. Well, I work in an asylum camp. I've met scary, scary people in my job. Certainly more scary than Wladimir (not saying they could beat him at boxing). I know what fear is, and I wouldn't claim to be any sort of macho hero. But I've stood my ground in bad situations and I've seen people buckle and run. And, well, it's just absurd to describe Haye's performance as anything other than a choke job like almost all commentators, fighters and fans do. You may think it's "easy" to call Haye's performance cowardly, but that's what it was. Toney, Lewis and others have intimated as much (-since they are fighters perhaps you'll respect their oppinions?).
Ok, I did not have a clue :yep The way Haye suggests he would have won a rematch based on his previous performence tells us all we need to know about this dragqueen :deal
Totally agree. It's all about pure hatred and little boxing knowlege. Haye has never been a high output kind of boxer and has always fought in short, fast powerful spurts. This has got him many world titles. He just came across a guy much bigger than him, with more overall power and who possesses better skills than him. As much as we want boxers to engage their opponents, by getting hitting and being hit in the process. We are however talking about Wlad here. He is a supreme phsyical specimen, possessing high levels of power, speed and stamina. Apart from his chin, which is now covered up with a concrete defence, he doesn't have many weaknesses. No point Haye getting brain damage if he can't beat him with his usual abilities. Any other way would lead to Haye being wreckless and getting a health risking beatdown.
