    1.3 million for Pac-Mosley

Floyd's PPV against Marquez only did 1.05 Milliion

Pac has beat that number 4 times

Philla and Wootles answer this true false qeustion:

Prior to Pacquiao vs Mosley Bob Arum has alway inflated the PPV numbers before the actual numbers came out:
    a) True
    b) False

Keep in mind, before your answer that those quotes are not official but based on Bob Arum's pre-official numbers.

Furthermore We are talking about Pac vs Mosley not other fights where Bob felt confident enough to release the official count.

bro you said you don't need to be able to count above any of Floyd's PPV numbers.

Floyd did 1.05 million against Marquez

    he did 925K against Hatton

Do you think Pac vs Mosley did less than that?

    Yes or no?

    Answer straight now.

So Woootles, is the 1.3 or Pac- Mosley official or is it an enhanced pre-official number?

Yes I think pac-mosley did less than that. Out of extreme embarrassment, Arum is refusing to release the numbers.

PS. I am just a boxing fan behind a computer so I admit I might be wrong but this is what I think.

The reason Arum gave for the lag in getting pay-per-view numbers and for why he is unsure of more precise totals is because Showtime, largely out of the pay-per-view business in recent years, does not have the kind of database and expertise to extrapolate numbers like HBO does.

Sorry Wootles but these are not the official numbers. When we hear something from Showtime, then we will have something official.

In the article, Arum also says they know they did a little over 1.3, but the total can be a little more, because of the reasons you stated.

Now, you're going to ride the speculation than it did less than 1 mil, against insiders like Fat Dan? Fat Dan. love it or hate it, is a pretty reliable source for official, one of the first guys to report upcoming fights and reporting breaking news.

    OP has failed hard.

Sorry but Manny along with Floyd are my favorite boxers. It just so happens that I like Floyd more than Manny but it does not matter.

The both of them are full of sh*t outside of the ring. However Many has better PR management outside of the ring.

To conclude I hate top rank, golden boy and don king's promotion, however I can't think of any boxers that I hate. They risk their lives so I can enjoy my favorite sport. How could I turn around and hate them.

Fat Dan got his quote from Bob Arum "Yesterday I was lying today I am telling the truth"

Do you deem Bob Arum as reliable also?

Pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao's lopsided decision victory against Shane Mosley on May 7 generated more than 1.3 million pay-per-view buys -- Pacquiao's best box office performance yet -- Top Rank promoter Bob Arum told ESPN.com.

Pacquiao's previous best pay-per-view total was the 1.25 million generated by his eighth-round knockout of Oscar De La Hoya in a big upset in December 2008. Four of Pacquiao's last six fights -- Mosley, De La Hoya, Antonio Margarito and Miguel Cotto -- have topped 1 million buys.

The total was the second-best pay-per-view performance for Mosley, whose lopsided loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in May 2010 sold 1.4 million units.
