Supposedly the article I read on Btalk but he is training in Pennsylvania so I wonder if he moved there? Also he has Winky Wright in his corner.

    http://boxingtalk.com/pag/article.php?aid=22165

So is Wright planning on retiring and becoming boxing's newest high-profile trainer?

"No way," he laughs. "I'm still a fighter. I don't feel like being a trainer. I don't know how to tell somebody to train. I can tell you what you're doing wrong and stuff like that, but as far as telling them when to get up and run; I'm not really into that. I'm here to just fine-tune little things that John and I feel he needs to work on. John is the coach and we are working together very well."

Wright, who will not be in Dawson's corner on fight night, says he likes his friend's chances in this fight. "Bernard is sneaky and crafty, but I think that Chad has a style that can beat him. He's tall and quick, with a good defense and hand speed. He can move, but he's not scared to get in there and fight. Bernard wants to try and take you out of your fight. Chad doesn't need to do that. He needs to do what we're showing him and make Hopkins fight our fight. We can win this."

Yes, he still has a good chance to emerge victorious because Bernard is a shell of his old self and nearly 47 years old.

I admit that I struggle to pick a winner in this fight and cant really decide, but if I had to I would pick Dawson.

    This content is protected
(Jones, Taylor, Calzaghe, Pascal) and Dawson fits that criteria. The only thing is Dawson just doesnt seem to want to be there some times and was nearly beaten by glorified gatekeeper G Johnson.

I will be the first to praise Hopkins if he wins clearly though

Are people forgetting that Scully taught Dawson how to box? Adding Winky Wright to the training camp will help Dawson because he knows how Hopkins fights.

I think the switch in trainers will benefit Dawson, not regress him.

It doesn't matter. I like Steward, but the man seems overrated. I know Jermain Taylor wasn't known to be the hardest worker, or anything, but Steward didn't show anything with him. Chad Dawson's last fight was boring as could be. I don't care if Dawson has a trainer, or just a motivational speaker...He just needs somebody to light a fire in him.

Emanual would have helped Chad, but I am not sure coming in the last 2 fights makes that much of a difference. Chad is good enough to outbox Hopkins. He has to stay focused and use his jab and speed and he will win.I do think Chad is better than Pascal.

Lets just say I went from confidently picking Chad to tentatively picking Chad realizing that Hopkins should be the betting fav.

that would be quite a sight to see someone outbox hopkins. Nearly impossible.

Might be pretty hard to believe, now, but Dawson has pretty easily outboxed just about every one he's faced, to include the great, "Goral" Adamek.

If his head is right, "it's" quite possible. I can see Hopkins being added to that list, especially with Winky being added as a coach.

His opponent being closer to fifty than forty gives him some chance. :blood Although, I favor Grampy Hopkins slighty.
