In your opinion, what is Haye's weakest attribute?

Not gonna agree with you there BB. You can pick any boxer in the world and none will have a perfect record of finishing guys off. Despite that one late win against Taylor, Carl Froch is hardly the best at it. Marquez is a brilliant combination puncher and of course is gonna look good at picking punches at the end.

Haye's record at stopping people he's hurt is really good is near perfect, hardly a weakness.

 

I agree, look at his stoppage of Mormeck, picks his punches well, but perhaps that's because he is wary of Mormeck catching him after being caught earlier in the fight and so is more considered...

the amount of time he takes off between fights. I mean fair play if you have a 12 round war you need a bit of time off but against harrison he shouldve been in the ring 2/3months later

 

His balance, undoubtedly, although it did seem to be much worse in the Wlad fight...maybe there was something wrong with his foot?

Yes, his shot variation appears to be limited but it does the trick for him and i think he does have some decent power, perhaps not one-punch knockout power, but enough power that opponents won't walk through him. Adamek, in comparison, appears to have carried very little power up to heavyweight.

That's the whole point..... it's a really good finish.

Like I said earlier in the thread, he's just not the same fighter at HW. His style is dog awful, and not that effective really.

The gunslinger we saw at cruiser was much more natural, and technically superior to the ugly duckling we've become used to.
