Need I say more. Mormeck is probably the worst challenger Wlad has faced, yet he is so very much better than his previous lineal champs competition that it is damn near sickening.:tired

a SHOT cruiserweight fighting for the heavyweight title is much much worse than nearly all those challengers listed above.

listen this guy isnt just a shot fighter....hes a shot CRUISERWEIGHT. even holyfield a shot to **** heavyweight is better.

jackson - 30 yrs old at the time. just 1 defeat at the time to ruddock

tyrell biggs - genuine unbeaten heavyweight. olympic GOLD medalist. could have been a very good contender had tyson not ruined him

Tony Tubbs - kidding me right now?! at least this guy held a world title! narrowly narrowly lost it to witherspoon. 3 years after tyson destroyed him he fought a very close fight with riddick bowe so thats a total fail

Carl Williams - a genuine heavyweight. 30 yrs old at the time of facing tyson. fought a very good fight against larry holmes. not great, but definitely better choice of opponent than 39 year old shot cruiserweight mormeck

David Bey - Beat two future heavyweight champions early on in his career (mormeck cant say the same). 28 years old at the time. again a genuine heavyweight

Marvis Frasier - i'll give you that one. poor choice of opponent but still at least a genuine heavyweight who was early 20's.

Scotty Frank - poor choice again by larry but he was a 25 yr old unbeaten heavyweight and was a decent amateur. again marginally better than 39 old cruiserweight

Scott Ledoux - ill give you that one

Leon Spinks - Ali was shot and an old man when he fought spinks!

your a good poster but for god sake dont make mormeck out to be a ''not so bad'' opponent. a 39 year old SHOT cruiserweight is one of the worst title challengers of the last 20 years.

if you say its a stay busy fight then you know what fair enough. but dont pass him off as a half decent opponent

 

Those undefeated fighters built their records against guys with 12-39 records. Wlad himself is 35 y/o, so age isn't really a factor, and like I said, Mormeck is in the best shape of his life. This is 2011 after all, and with training, supplements, diet, and work ethic, these fighters are staying healthy and prime for much longer periods. Look at BHOP. Should he lose to Pascal, is it b/c he was 46 y/o and shot to ****? I think not.

I'm not hyping Mormeck, Im just saying that the prospects/contenders who are younger than Wlad have a better chance of awating his retirement or Vitali's and picking up their title that way. It's not Wlad's fault that only Mormeck seems to want this fight, and let's face it......it's a HUGE $$$$$ fight.
I personally would rather see MGrant.....he's 36/37, has raw power, excellent footwork and handspeed, and he's a big HW.....but it's unrealistic if he can't beat the Adameks or the Mormecks for that matter of the division.

And btw....that shot to **** CW beat 2 top contenders. Some called em robberies, but watch yourself. They were close fights, ONLY b/c of the size advantages. Mormeck outwork both those guys is dramatic fashion.

That said.....Wlad still steamrolls him in a stay busy fight. Let's hope Santa brings these contenders some balls for Christmas, eh.:good

to be honest i havent seen mormeck's two fights at heavyweight (didnt think i'd ever need to ).

i'll have a look. if he shows some life and work rate i guess my opinion may warm a little bit. of course i dont know which contenders said yes which said no we can only speculate. so with that regard we dont know for sure how much choice wlad had in all this.

the ''stay busy'' argument is fair enough. i just hope ESB doesn't get bombarded with threads such as ''mormeck better opponent than haye'' or ''mormeck tko1 frazier'' or rubbish like that .....im talking to YOU Bubby!

 

if this is offical this is a **** fight wlad should fight arreola or at least someone who is actually going to be a challange, this fight is wank klitshco's ruining boxing again, MMA cocksuckers laughing :-(
