That's why these unmade fights are so appealing to people that hate Mayweather: they imagine a scenario where he may of lost. In reality, it would likely have just been more of the same. If Baldomir didn't fight and lose to Floyd, maybe he'd be held in better regard today.

I don't care what he fights for, if he's fighting reigning champions and guys coming off impressive performances then that's good enough.

He fought Judan after he lost to Baldomir which was prior to Floyd fighting Baldomir.

Maragrito wasn't a good fighter anyway and was only known amongst hardcore boxing fans, while DLH was the golden boy and had mainstream appeal. DLH at 154 was better than Margarito period. DLH has a better resume and a higher pedigree than Margarito and will be in the HOF.

So measure their accomplishments until 2006, you will see Baldomir is the better fighter.

 

nice try, almost nobody is giving ortiz a chance to win. Stop acting like this is some major feat for Floyd taking this fight.

 

With or without bricks Margo is a MUCH better fighter than Baldomir.:deal
