I seriously am starting to think when guys fight Vitali they are way more sacred than when they fought tyson. How come no one ever throws an overhand right at Vitali?

Tyson made guys lose before the fight even began. Tyson, easily.

It doesn't mean that Vitali isn't intimidating as ****. He is. But with Tyson, it was like a punch in his arsenal. He fought guy after guy who would fight, from the opening bell, just to survive what he was going to do to them.

I disagree. There were several fighters that weren't scared at all of tyson at all. I really think as soon as most of the fighters get in there with vitali, they are totally out of there element and praying just to hold on and not get knocked out.

Tyson, probably. As for rude awakenings; that is, once a fighter gets into the ring and realizes what he got himself into, then either of the Klitschkos

Tyson wanted to beat a guy's manhood and dignity out of him.

I imagine Vitali as more of a "what have I gotten myself into" situation.

Tyson. They were visibly shaken before and during a fight. With Vitali they start to look worried midfight or so.

this 'cause none of them have the skill or the talent to compete with Big V . . . they do not know how to solve the puzzle.

With Tyson you hoped going in that you didnt spend a week in the hospital and that you would have all your faculties in your late 30s

The mystique of Tyson was powerful, Michael Spinks didn't want to leave his dressing room if I remember rightly.

Alot of guys were intimidated by Tysons reputation, rather than the man himself, though he played the game right by coming to the ring in just a peice of cloth, to give that feeling of potential savagery.

Opponents of Vitali don't seem overly intimidated until they get into the ring with him, then they realise that he hits phenomally hard, has an iron chin to all but eliminate your punchers chance, (assuming you can get close enough to land) and is conditioned well enough to fight 12 rounds if need be.

Different formats of intimidation, each opponent would react differently.

Two totally different type of fears. Tyson was feared out of sheer fear of getting hit and ko'ed guys fighting either klit is more of fear of not knowing how to win or get inside to land punches niether are devistating punchers as much as tyson was they beat on opponents constantly keeping them at bay. guys feared for there consiousness when fighting tyson in his prime vitali its more of what can i do to hit this guy and just get hit all night trying to get inside.

"Oh man, did you see Vitali beat Adamek? It was amazing. Adamek just didn't have the skills"

"Well...there was a pretty big size disparity too. And, y'know, Adamek had already showed signs of weaknesses against a 100 year old Michael Grant. Just sayin'."
