yeah carson jones best known for koing tyrone brunson against said ouali known for a few fights. jones went to the body but ouali used his southpaw jab cross to keep jones at bay but jones kept walking in and throwing the right left to the waist continsouly. jones got tagged by some hard shots but jones kept strong and in the 4th round caught ouali with right cross left hand to the head. ouali got up and got piled into the ropes but the roudn ended 5th round and jones starts of fast catching him with some really good shots but ouali comes back with some crisp left cross and staggers jones. jones recouvres and kept getting in close and keeping the pressure on. oualis face getting busted up and looked tired after his 5th round charge so he retires. he looked in a bad way. really good scrap. why this isnt on tv i dont know
Just back from the Smith-Selby fight -Undercard = 4/10 * Fielding was very average, Liam Smith was taste and Paul Smith's fight lasted 2 minutes. -Atmosphere = 5.5/10 *Many empty seats, home crowd were quiet at times but the main fight brought people off their seats. Few Welsh nuts were good banter too. -Selby v Smith = 7.5/10 *Skill wise it lacked the basics of good solid defensive, tactics and general all round quality BUT it had two honest lads ready to scrap, fight and brawl. They did just that, they were evenly matched give or take. Smith lunged a lot and had no defence or jab. Selby was more controlled and planned better as things went on. The KO was shuddering, one of the best iv've seen in awhile. Scary for a minute actually. Enjoyed it...
Let's have a roll call, who's still with us? LP? Have you made it? Gaz? Has the homebrew got to you? Laz? You still here?
TBH looking at the 24/7 and looking at Ortiz's body language, I don't even think he is convinced he can win the fight!!
