Legality isn't about subjective opinion, numbskull. It's either legal or illegal - pretty black and white. If it was illegal, Floyd would have been disqualified.

What's being argued here is whether or not what he did was ethical.

Not only wasn't it illegal, it wasn't even really unethical IMO.

I feel like I need to apologize for sticking up for Mayweather b4 today. Legit but incredibly cheap and cowardly.

Ortiz is a ***** for the intentional headbutt, I think being on the big stage and inexperience caught up with him he got so excited when he got mayweather on the ropes that he spontanously lounged his head at Mayweather. J
oe cortez did say time Time in, so ortiz should of protected himself, Ortiz was showing to much respect for Floyd he had already hugged and kissed him, why go for another hug, the KO is legit, Floyd took advantage of Ortiz mistake this is boxing your oppenant isn't your friend and you dont owe it to him. Ortiz folded on the big stage, Mayweathers experience showed.

Honestly speaking i am ashamed to say that i would pay for a rematch with a different referee. This fight intrigued me.

Shall I say it again? Cortez called time-in and told the fighters to fight. (if you don't believe me, watch a replay) The golden rule in boxing is, protect yourself at all times. Ortiz didn't protect himself, thus a legal knockout. Something is either legal or not. On this occasion, it was a legal win. You're wrong, not "entitled to your opinion," wrong.

Did people forget that Ortiz did head butt Floyd. Floyd just returned the favor.

It did? It was ridiculously one-sided while it lasted, as expected.

Ortiz won 1 round and he was losing but he was landing some shots.. That was the most weird ending ever! I guess floyd needs free shots to KO someone.. A ***** is a *****!

Disappointing end. I thought Mayweather looked uncomfortable at times - rare thing. Would have liked a less controversial ending to really see if they were just moments of ring rust/age.

Not sure if I even care about Mayweather v Pacquaio anymore. More interested in Toney return lol.

    Glad I didn't pay for a PPV...

Not if you have the ****** Joe Cortez as the referee, Mayweather and Golden Boy promotions...so you see it may not be a subjective opinion numbskull but if you're too blind to see the corruption in boxing and you condone it then I have to say you can go ahead and just hang yourself, I still prefer watching clean fights over dirty ones...not even unethical? this is the killer punch right here, done talking to you idiot LOL

Maybe it was the way it ended, maybe it was seeing Floyd getting physically worked into the ropes, something i hadn't seen in a long time. Maybe it was seeing Larry Merchant giving it to Floyd, but this fight definitively left a strong impression on my mind.
Maybe it was the circus that that hit me harder then the actual fight because your right, i had Floyd winning every round, but if tonight isn't proof that anything could happen in boxing then i dont know what is.
