Have to agree with Ortiz being a complete buffoon. Doesn't make what Money did any better.

But that's different from the Dirrell and Abraham fight. Abraham lost that fight on a DQ and rightfully so. So I don't get the analogy.

They both did something stupid. Someone got DQ'd and someone else didn't.

Are you saying Money should get DQ'd for doing something classless like Abraham did? Because I don't think that's right.

This was like WWE. Fake a hug and clocks you thinking it was a truce in front a millions watching. I should just stick to WWE pay-per-views, lol.

Mayweather played coy pretending to forgive Ortiz then blasts a defenseless fighter. Legal, yes, although the ref wasn't even watching, dirty as fuk, hell yes.
Goes to show what kind of planet we live on when people defend the actions of a total and absolute cowardly act. Good job. Please don't reproduce.

I completely agree with you, Ortiz started the dirty tricks by blatantly jumping for a headbutt, Mayeeather answered back. If you try to cross someone, don't try to play nice afterwards.

i agree with everything the TS said. but if floyd gets hate after this he's only got himself to blame. it doesn't matter how much he was with in the rules of boxing, a sucker punch is still a sucker punch.

Ortiz brought this on his own self. The ref called for time to be started again and to fight and Ortiz kept trying to hug and talk to PBF. PBF did the right thing rule # 1 in boxing is protect yourself at all times. Don't be mad at PBF for being alert and smart in the ring. He did the same thing to Mosley when they fought and he wanted to talk. It's what you're suppose to do.

Obviously this is classier, and the more desired result. However, Ortiz is to blame. What if Mayweather went to hug Ortiz back and Ortiz hit him and knocked him out? Mayweather would've been going home with a loss. I can't blame a guy for hitting his opponent like that, especially after gettting blatantly fouled. Someone gets dirty with you, you're not going to be in the mood to be Mr. Nice Guy

PBF said this in the face off. "If you make a mistake you're gonna play" and he meant it.:deal

The analogy has to do with fan reaction. In both cases, the officials did the right thing. However, fan reaction has been inconsistent. In one case, everyone overlooks a blatant foul and focuses their anger squarely on the guy who got KO'd. In the other case, everyone focuses their anger on the guy does the KO'ing. Even though in one case the KO was illegal and the other, perfectly legal.
