Oh come on. Floyd didn't do anything illegal. Ortiz made a stupid decision and paid for it. If Ortiz never attempted to headbutt Floyd in the first place, the fight probably wouldn't have ended so quickly.

 

At least this was floyds last fight. He'll be in jail soon for one of his 6 cases.

victor, that was embarrassing. if you wanted to head butt floyd to rough him up, fine, do it and lose a point, then continue fighting! sure floyds KO looks unsporting but it was brought on by victor. it's a fight, not an apologising contest.

Ortiz knew he couldn't beat Mayweather. He could have gotten up. The shot Berto hit him with was way harder. Three people are to blame, Cortez, Ortiz, and Mayweather. Cortez for not maintaining control, Ortiz for not protecting himself - and not getting up, and Mayweather for throwing the legal, albeit classless two-piece.

The bottom line is, the knockout shots were were 100% legal, and that's that.
