    AGREED.I was watching on primetime and Wayne McCullough was co commentator he didnt have kind words to say about cortez before the fight.

    He's sucked for years. How he keeps getting fights to work is amazing.

    I've seen better refs working our local amateur circuit.

    No I dont rate him either...I mean he's biased in the extreme. I think Floyd pays him well though and has no complaints. ;)

    agree. the sigs of mayweather sparking out ortiz while cortez is busy checking out some women in row G says it all.

    Whilst im on pbfs side on this one, cortez is a joke and when we are talking about ~30million dollar fights, as fans we deserve better than this joker(and have done for years).

    He is completely inept. Completely arrogant. The fact he has that shitty catch phrase illustrates that he thinks he is partof the attraction. You shouldn't notice a good referee, they should be anonymous throughout the fight.

    He needs to be forced to retire I am sick of him wsting fights.

    The guy decided to turn Billy goat middle of the round, breaking the rules in the process and then got knocked out legitimately.

    Cortez had clapped his hands to continue the fight.
    Stepped back and looked at time keeper.
    Ortiz wanted a hug because he knew mayweather was now gonna son him.
    He got a left hook while looking at Cortez
    Straight right hand ****ed him over.
    Oh well he should have put his hands up.
