In boxing, you punch the other fella in the face.

No hugging, kissing, cuddling etc. Maybe a touch of gloves to acknowledge a foul. That's it. Apologizing over and over like that just shows a lack of heart. Like Mosely touching gloves every ten seconds with Pac - he just didn't want to fight.

Mayweather did the right thing professionally, but also ethically - please go in that ring to fight, no glove touching and cuddling.

I couldn't agree more. I hated all that buddy buddy **** in the Pac Mosly fight. PBF came to fight and meant business.

All this glove touching recently made people think this sport was giving the fans fixed fights.

Now when floyd clocks him one, all of a sudden we need to do more glove touching LOL

Ortiz should have dropped to one knee and embraced Mayweather around the legs, if he got a little pat on the head he could have continued 'apologizing', if not he would have been in a position were he couldn't be hit.

He done the right thing by knocking Ortiz when he didn't have his hands up?

Us fans were robbed of a good fight.

I'm ashamed of both Ortiz and Mayweather. They sucker punched Boxing.

Its not mayweather's fault that Ortiz didn't have his hands up. By your logic, everytime Ortiz put his hands down, Mayweather would have been obligated to stop punching. That;s ridiculous.

The fight was not legit end of.

Cortez should never referee a professional bout ever again. He's going to get someone killed.

It was another blackmark on the sport of Boxing. Another devastating blow for the sport.

Floyd Knew what he was going to do when Ortiz approached him to touch up to appologize. You can see it in his face and body gesture in the replay.

A real class act, true professional would not have done what Floyd did.

Mayweather didn't back up or wait till both fighters were set.He threw punches with hardly no space inbetween both fighters.Directly off of that so called hug or whatever you wanna call it.

I would have loved to see what Floyd would had said if it happened to him.Would he still be saying "We in the hurt business" "Its protect yourself at all times".I dont think so!.

Classless move by Floyd Jr IMHO.
