Floyd Mayweather did nothing wrong in the way the fight ended. I would say this no matter who did that. Joe Cortez had seprated the boxers and instructed them to coutune. The rule is protect yourself at all times Victor Ortiz failed to do that, and he was looking at Floyd Mayweather when he got hit.

Here's my problem. Had certin other boxers done what Mayweather did not only would there be no complants. They would be haroled for doing exactaly what he did.

This is my only issue with who the fight ended.

Mayweather was absolutely right to do what he did.

    Protect yourself at all times.

Yeah, but he lost a lot of fans with that bull**** he just pulled. Just shows what a classless piece of **** he really is.

For a sec, and then he stopped smiling...

It's a defense mechanism, not much he could do at that point. But he had the wrong mentality that's for sure. Too much apologizing, not enough fighting.

My problem was that Ortiz didn't get back up.

Would Pacquiao have taken that shot? And why?

First of all, had Pac done that to Ortiz, he wouldn't have gotten up and be smiling afterwards. He'd have been like Ricky Hatton.

Second of all, Pac would never pull **** like that. Just watch his fight against Sanchez as proof.

I don't like the man, but I will defend him here.

The fact that your opponent does something off the wall, does not oblige you to abandon the fight. Quite the contrary, it was Ortiz who was in the wrong.

Mayweather just followed the rules to their logical conclusion.

I'm sorry but I wasn't asking this to rational and reasoning people... I was asking this to the *****S and other idiots who claim that Fraud did absolutely nothing wrong by sucker punching Ortiz...

not me. I'm now a big floyd fan because of this.

If there's a rule, you take advantage of it. Floyd did this.

Nothing in the rules states that you have to sucker punch your opponent...

What rule did he take advantage of?

Well let's face it Doby, you're not really known as a classy guy around here so it doesn't really surprise me that you feel this way

keep yourself protected at all times..he protected himself by knocking Ortiz out when he had to.
