Could it happen? Is Haye tied up with Sky in a broadcasting deal still? Could be a way for Haye to get some reputation back from the casual boxing fan if he was to spark Fury on primetime Saturday night on Channel 5 Would Fury/Hennesy fancy taking him on? Awful lot of questions to answer here
No. Might be, I'm not sure. Haye doesn't care about his reputation when it means he'll have to fight for peanuts compared to what he has earned previously. Yes.
Fury has a big mouth but he knows he gets knocked the **** out VERY early! He has shown how crap his chin is in his last fight! Imagine Haye landing on that!!!
Haye likely takes this one on points after doing his usual back foot performance and throwing 10 punches a round. Amazing the amount of people that still think Haye's going to spark a giant heavyweight early. Have they not be watching him fight at heavyweight?
If anything, I am more impressed with Fury's chin now that I was before this weekend, a lot of fighters would have gone down or stayed up and been stopped in that third round, I thought he did better than many and answered a few questions. But no way on Earth does Haye fight Fury. Haye just wants money and world titles - in that order - and Fury offers no money compared with what Haye is used to and no world title. If it happened, I think that Haye would flatten Fury right now, but I see no chance of Haye wanting this fight, he sees himself as well beyond that level. And a loss, however unlikely at this point, would finish him, credibility-wise - he wouldn't risk that for peanuts money and no world title.
Haye would cut Fury down within 5. Fury is not a puncher so Haye would trade with him early. Just like he did with Ruiz. Ruiz has a better chin than Fury thats how he lasts longer than Fury IMO. Just because Haye lost to Wlad it doesn't make him a poor heavy, Wlad and Vitali are excelllent heavies so losing to either is not a crime!! (although sayin it was due to a broken toe is!!) Fury is not in Hayes league and never will be!!
Im a big Fury fan and think he would beat Price but calling out David Haye is just stupid and i think he knows deep down he will never get that fight not that he is ready lol Fury would get stopped by klitschko and haye at this stage of his career and would be well advised to stay away from them but i got a feeling henneseys mouth is gonna write a cheque furys talent cant cash.
Agreed. One of the few reasons I think he's a decent prospect, he can recover quickly and can take a dig.
ye ive never understood but people seem to confuse being hurt by a big shot regardless of how well/quickly you recover with having a bad chin. having a bad chin is being hurt or knocked out by average shots or not recovering when hurt imo. Fury's got the things you can't teach like a good chin, heart, a passion for the sport itself and being massive, the technical flaws can be worked on
Yes he seems to recover well........but then again not too many of Firtha's other opponents have been rocked as badly.......and he (Firtha) has lost 8 times previously with only 8 KOs in his 29 or so fights. Fury may have survived Mcdermott and Firtha's best punches......but let's remember they are not heavy punching heavyweights. Would a decent prospect really be rocked by Mcdermott, Chisora and Firtha given that all 3 heavyweights were rather out of shape and carrying spare tyres when they faced Fury.:?
I don'tt hink Fury's chin is too much of a problem, I reckon his main weakness is actually a lack of power. He's not featherfisted, but I reckon he will need a fair bit more one punch power to get by at the higher levels he's aiming for.
The main problem for Fury is his defensive skills or lack of them......better calibre opposition will cruelly expose this if Fury doesn't improve in this area.
