You also notcie that he didn't say "box" or give any other sort of verbal command? He brought them together, touched their gloves, and then it was on. Cortez brought Mayweather and Ortiz's gloves together, gave a verbal command to continue, and then stepped away. How the hell did Ortiz not know it was time to fight? It's a shame it took him getting knocked out to figure it out.
Does anyone remember in the Corrales fight where Mayweather hit Corrales when he was trying to adjust his trunks?
True but Ortiz is 100 % at fault for what happened, the ref didn't have to call time here because Shane did NOT fight dirty. PBF tied Shane up, and Shane was simply trying to break the clinch like he did in the 2nd round when he buckled Floyd but because the ropes were there this time it was a bad move but he had done the same thing earlier in the middle of the ring and it was clean.
