    :think

But cane, of course you aren't equating the KOTY performance by Floyd Jr. It was a "LEGAL" sucker punch combination, because it took the Pretty One two "LEGAL" sucker punches to KO a completely defenseless Ortiz... that shouldn't count in this case... hahaha :yep

Was it legal? Yes - borderline actually because the referee did not notion it clearly, in which case, Ortiz might not even understood it.

    Was it cheap - yes

So the answer is YES. Mayweather is cheap.

If seconds earlier his opponent had headbutted him like that, I would feel the exact same way I feel about what Mayweather did.

The watchword would be discrestion. It looked legal, but Floyd should have known better. Ortiz, for all his faults approached him in an non-aggressive manner, hands down, head straight up, a none boxing stance. The moment he steps back, still hands to his sides, still unaggressive, POP!
There are also instances where it is very legal to throw a punch, but none is thrown, again, discretion. (Pacquiao-Lucero, Norton- Stephens). Pac could have thrown a loaded shot at Lucero before the ref could stop the fight. Norton half-way stops throwing a what would have been a potentially dangerous free shot at a young fighter.

Lets make something clear Mayweather beat Ortiz fair and squair. He did not throw a sucker punch or cheep shot.

Can you imagine the amount of hugging and kissing that would have ensued between Pac and Ortiz if Ortiz had been figthing Pac and the same situation had developed? Cortez would have had to order to them fight again.

He beat him square and fair. Most people do agree.

Let us leave it at that.

If Pacquiao got butted, I'd side with Pacquiao. Pacquiaos disingenuous fans, you cant ignore Ortiz's butt. Some Pacquiao fans claim they would disowned Pacquiao. ****ing liars. You'd be doing exactly what Floyds fans are doing.

If they ever fight, I might not be surprised headbutts during the fight, but it would be unintentional, due to Pac's come-forward attack/right side step as Floyd tries to duck or lean to his left as he evades pac's lead left.

    Yep.

If Pac was in Floyd's shoes, I would feel the exact same way as I do now. You can't headbutt your opponent with the intention of busting his face and expect it to be all well and smooth after that. Ortiz can go **** himself. He was the one that turned it dirty, and then he didn't even have the balls to admit that his headbutt was intentional.

And **** all those hypocrites who blatantly ignore what Ortiz did, and prefer to put all the blame solely on Mayweather for what happened.

I don't know what his countrymen would do.

I am pretty sure that Pac wouldn't have taken that shot. But I wouldn't criticize him much if he did, if he had just got headbutted like that seconds ago.

Would never happen. Honour, integrity, principles and sportsmanship are too important to Pacquiao. Moot point.
