Two possible scenarios A: That's 100% true, and two boxers have thrown fights, that would have made them instant legends, and probably $20 million more in purses. B: You're a Pacquiao fan, with a wild imagination, who struggles to accept that "you can't always get what you want" and Floyd probably isn't going to lose no matter how much you pray for it every night:hi:
I've been over and over this fight in my mind and watching the videos. Ortiz was warned twice earlier in round 4 by Cortez about head butting. Then, in the heat of the moment, with May on the ropes Ortiz goes and tries something as crazy as what he did. I'm wondering now if this guy, Ortiz suffers from the same mental problems that Golota had. Whenever Golota got excited he'd start fighting dirty, the way he did against Ridick Bowe and who know how many other fighters. Lou Duva even said that it was something he couldn't control. Does Ortiz have the same kind of big fight, ring crazy that Golota had?
All the casual fans I saw it with said it looked exactly like from the WWE. But they think the WWE is somewhat real.
My answer could be either, who knows. If it was fixed then they did a good job making it look like it wasn't.
I'm going with your take on this one because I felt the same way after the Mosley fight. It's my understanding that when the clock is stopped the ref puts the fighters in separate corners until he starts the fight again. None of this was done here. Also, what do you think the paydays would be if Ortiz HAD taken Floyd out (which I think was possible, if not probable). No, this one REALLY stunk........I'm done with PPV Floyd. JET
Ortiz lights up PB in fourth then he decides to cash the paycheck for the day and rams him. He did not get DQ so he gave PB another chance. At the end Ortiz was stunned but happy. FIXED.
