What weight will Selkirk be fighting at light middle or middle? Seems a big light middle to me but if he can make the weight without draining himself I think he beats the likes of Webb, prince Aaron and Jamie ****
Pretty sure he is going to be operating at light middle but he has a big frame and probably can/will move up to middle at some point.
Jazza Dickens does look good from what I have seen of him which is fairly little admittedly and after only 3 fights its a bit hard to say but super fast hands looks really slick but hard to judge at this particular juncture but definitely one to watch. Was another top amateur won the ABA's Skip to 3.10 [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fjb-MUTHdZw[/ame]
Ok not many hits the dizzy heights of world title fights, but it's great fun following these fighters up to british levels and it happens a lot sooner now I think. So proud to share the same city as these lads as any of you lads would if they were from your neck of the woods.
Pricey for me though I think it's worth keeping an eye on Paul Butler as well (Ellsemere Port, so not strictly Liverpool but close enough!)
I've seen nothing of Smith to think he'd even get to European level. No defence, head movement, game plan. He just walks forward in an uneducated manner, throws his shot and holds on. For someone who tries to brawl he has little power too. I know he had a decent amateur career but he seems to have forgotten completely about boxing. Big job to turn him around.
Derry Mathews for me. If he beats Gavin Rees (Derry KO in the 10th when Rees gasses imo) he'll be a couple of fights away from a world title fight, against Katsidis or Burns I thing
