i reckon they should hype it as the first public execution for yrs(bellew) and then sell it on ppv, i think it would sell.

It's because they shelled out so many time's in the past and had there finger's burnt that id like to think people have had enough of it, Unless people really take a stand against PPV then it's only going to get worse.

I'm hoping it's on normal sky as i don't wanna shell out extra cash if i don't have too and think this will be a good scrap, something tells me Bellew might just cause the upset!

putting fights liek this on ppv is so short term thinking

get people interested, get people wont pay ppv to watch the fight, then maybe theyll buy the fighters fights in the future and they can make big ppv money

as of now itd do crap numbers and so would their next fight surely

Without terrestrial backing or at least a non PPV channel will see the sport stay small time and not develop.

The UFC put shows on Spike, also Fox and they have avenues like TUF. People catching these shows will buy into the PPV.

If I'm not really a big boxing fan am I just going to buy a PPV. There are alot of fans to convert out there. I see them every day in my work place but there is no news in the press, no free footage and **** marketing along with **** fights and **** cards if they do tune in.

Shock, my work colleagues watched both of Furys last fights and they now know who he is. C5 ****ed them over with poor connection but people want to see it for free before they invest.

I see your point but different markets.

Remember boxing tried the contender and it was a joke. Nobody cared about that show. UFC can use TUF to build future stars. Boxing cannot have a model like that with a rality show like the contender.

Also I must stress the ratings for TUF have only being going down.

I agree FW is very stupid if he takes this to PPV. Cleverley and Bellew is a grudge match and needs to be seen my a lot more than what would watch it on PPV. Degale needs to regroup and show people his still got it and again needs more exposure than what a backwater PPV channel will give him.

and so would most in fairness.

I dont think box nation is a bad idea if Wank is not charging for the fights.

If BoxNation is a platform for Wank fights, that is a good thing imo. The only problem is if he starts going PPV. If he starts putting fights on BN without any PPV, what is the problem? It's a channel devoted to his boxing.

But we know Wank. He has taken the absolute **** out of fans so we will never trust him.

It won't be long before most of his cards are PPV. It may only be 5 quid or something but it will still be PPV to some degree.

You keep saying that, but with no real facts to back that up and don`t go on about them not doing ppv because that means bugger all.

One article and viewing figures that aren`t that bad hardly backs up your theory. The contracts being up doesn`t back up your theory,if they don`t renew any of the contracts then you would prove to be right.

At worst they will keep Matchroom who will become major players in the next year and probaly one other promoter Hatton or Maloney and the odd internatinal contest, aswell as prizefighter.More of a slimming down process then them pulling out imo.If they did pull out it would be a disater for british boxing
