The ref had started the action, so how could Floyd be sure Ortiz was not setting him up for another dirty move with his "hug me"-antics? He could not, and he took a big risk letting Ortiz close before he went on the attack. Just like he took a big risk trying to make Ortiz understand it was time to fight by twice putting a fighting guard up.

Floyd acted liked a true sportman, endagering himself like that. Still people complain. I am chocked to realize that Floyd haters are every bit as weird as Calzaghe haters.

I'm a pretty big Mayweather fan, but this **** is getting stupid. MAyweather was in fight mode, Ortiz didn't pay attention to what was going on in the ring, had his hands down and got knocked out.

No excuse is necessary because no foul was committed.

I am not trolling. Floyd gave Ortiz a pass no less then three times before he finally got down to business.

I agree, but in this case it is you who are unable to think outside the box.

Floyd waited and waited and waited for Ortiz to get into fighting mode. Eventually boredom caught up with him and he started the action himself. But he gave Ortiz plenty of time before he did. This is not beeing biased, it is just pointing out a fact.

Just STFU...you lkilled ANY cred by saying Floyd acted like a sportsman. :patsch

That can only mean one of two things, you really believe that, and therefore are pretty ******ed. Or you are just a troll, and in that case, still pretty ******ed. Your exaggeration of the situation pretty much gives you away as someone who isn't trying to be serious. "Floyd waited., and waited, and waited..."

But keep fishing, you'll get bites. Trolls always do...

    1. Ref starts the action.

    2. Ortiz approaches Floyd with his hands down. Floyd lets him get close, not unloading.

    3. Ortiz want to touch gloves. Floyds allows it, still not unloading.

    4. Ortiz goes for a hug. Floyd pushes him away, keeps his guard up, STILL NOT UNLOADING.

    5. Ortiz backs away. Floyd is getting bored. BAM_BAM. Party is over.

    6. Floyd haters: "Floyd is dirty!" :| But in reality, Floyd let Ortiz getting away three times before he did him, taking a risk every time. Thats sportmanship.
