Just say floyd fights manny in his next fight and wins,
Does that put him above manny in the atg standings?

    I personally dont think so.
I think hes quite a way ahead of floyd legacy wise, that one win wouldnt be enough to close that gap. maybe if floyd is active for a few further years and gets quality wins.

But if floyd beats manny in his next fight and RETIRES, and pac retires aswel, does that put floyd above manny legacy wise?

edit: assuming he wins via clear UD by 3/4 rounds

If he dominates Pacquiao? I wouldn't see why not.

without a shadow of a doubt it would improve his atg standing, especially if he won in convincing fashion

I dont have Pacquiao above Floyd in any rankings so others may be able to answer your question.

Yes. I would rate him very highly if he did. He has to if he wants to be remembered as the best.

Even as a Pacquiao fan, I'd say yes. Pac would still have him beaten on in-ring achievements, Manny's feats of weight-jumping are miles ahead of anything Floyd has done or will do in the ring, but that would be such a massive, massive win that I think it would tip the balance.

    It won't happen though.

Floyd Mayweather beating Manny Pacquiao wouldn't put him over Manny Pacquiao in rankings, but if Manny Pacquiao beat Floyd Mayweather it wouldn't put him above Floyd Mayweather in rankings.

Would it matter at which point it happens and what version of manny he fights?
