if ****** were to do a certain number of free shows and then decent level PPV (3-4 fights plus US leg) would anyone take issue with it?

 

There is no link mate, I get an email from BN every week with a preview of what's in this week's mag along with a pic of the front cover.

The preview doesn't mention anything about BoxNation though...

We don't know if it's PPV yet. What if it's a subscription channel with regular boxing? How much would people be prepared to pay then? :think

 

Imagine if your George Groves and you moved for this ****. Although thinking about it again would ******, in all his glory be able to sell the 'Boxnation' angle to the young un's Booth and Groves. Unlikely, there must be Hennessy like link to Boxnation.

Indeed, no chance. My bills are high enough as it is, I'm not paying any more and given his stable of fighters theres not a chance im paying to see that.

 

It could be a very smart move by Mr W.No more waiting for TV dates or battling with other promoters.His TV shows can happen when he wants.

 

I would be shocked if there was no ppv element. Small shows for free and then try and sell ppv for bigger shows. Frank probably was pissed that sky said no more ppv.

If it were a joint venture between a number of promoters that's the only way I could see it working (and even then the odds would be majorly against it). If it's just Frank's fighters then it'll surely fail. Watching dodgy, **** fights with robbing refs and judges and afrobums as part of your Sky subscription is one thing, paying extra especially for it is like opening your window, asking someone to **** through it, and then paying them.
