How come fighters never try to get in Floyd's head?

I just wonder why none of Floyd's opponents try to get in his head? Floyd has great psyche but I notice no one ever tries. They are good with being the "good guy" Every 24/7 series, the opponents just mope around and try to act like they aren't bothered by Floyd while he gains the advantage playing all of these games making them agressive playing into his own hands. They may find a mental weakness in there somewhere. Ortiz tried but it was too scripted with the "I will beat you like Chavez beat Roger" He should've been shown watching clips with Roger getting beat up by Tyszu and Chavez and Floyd Sr. getting beat up by SRL. Here's a few they should be trying out.

    1. The Roberto Duran approach: Show no respect, no disregard for Floyd in or outside of the ring. If Floyd gets headbutted, show no remorse, and when Floyd goes to hug, push him away. Have rumors going around that you knock out bulls and drink bulls blood in preparation for a fight. Beats drinking urine.

    2. The Hopkins approach: Be as nasty as you can be in the pre-fight making Floyd out to be almost a good guy. He would be so confused. Every chance you see Floyd, taunt him horribly without showing any nervousness or fear. If you got to hit Floyd in a press conference, hit Floyd and make him angry. Floyd's not really a street guy as he likes everyone to see.

    3. The Haye approach: Come to a press conference wearing a shirt with you in the ring holding Floyd and Roger's head. Whenever you are face to face with him, tell him you want to knock his head off and kill him. Show you are genuinely don't respect Floyd but unlike Haye, show it in the ring also.

    4. The Hagler approach: This takes a fighter able to do this. Train much harder than Floyd. If you see him runn 5 miles, you run 6 miles. Every press conference, show up in sunglasses and a black cap with "WAR" written on it. You don't even have to talk to Floyd. Every answer can be "I'm going to war and that's it" training like you are in prison. When you see Floyd across the ring, beat on your head and stomach like there's nothing he can do to take you. Make he believe that even if he hit you with the ring post you "aint goin nowhere"

    5. The Martinez/Pacquiao approach:D Find an opponent that Floyd doesn't want to fight or avoid and beat them senseless to a bloody pulp. You might want to take it easy since if you're smaller than Floyd, he will say you are on steroids and refused to fight you if you call him out. If you are bigger, everyone will say Floyd's too small for you and and he will never mention your name and say he's too small for your weight class even though he's beat a top fighter at that weight.

Make fun of his lover, no, not Ms. Jackson, 50 Cent! Other rappers are calling 50 out to be a closet homosexual, start the same game on Floyd. It's not like people aren't thinking it any how. Ever see the Chelsey Handler interview

Some fighters need every last bit of psychological advantage. For all of Floyd's skills and brilliance, he lacks the confidence to to just go into a fight without doing everything he can to rattle his opponents. I mean, Look at ortiz. he's a quitter with a glass jaw, and Floyd went waaaaay out of his way to get into ortiz's head : researching his background, inviting robert garcia and brandon rios to the fight, inviting his dad, choking him at the weigh in, etc

as good as floyd is, he's somewhat mentally weak

His last 3 opponents do not have what it takes to get into Floyd's head.

    1. JMM - too small, its hard to brag about your advantages when you do not have any
    2. Mosley - too many personal problems
    3. Ortiz - to green and immature and as you can see, is also not right in the head.

What Pac can do after they sign for the fight.
    1. Talk about Mayweathers legal problems esp the battery and assault charges.
    2. Talk about his fear and the manifestation of that fear by asking for stricter drug testing.
    3. Talk about his crazy family.

I do not think Pac will do this and even if he did, that it can work. But somebody should give this a try.

I would love to see this, Floyd seems like a fragile little thing in handling criticism and when he feels disrespected, I would love to see his reaction to someone calling him out as a homo. He might cry. maybe some Mayorga style suggestions about Ms Jackson and how she might enjoy a real man. Unfortunately no good fighters around who like to trash talk. Only Malignaggi, but he looks like a bigger ***, wouldn't work.

Mayweather is an exteremly calculated man. He's got a lot going for him as well. He makes the most money in the sport, he takes little punishment, and he seems to have very little boundries. You can try to get in his head, but there's a good chance that it backfires. Ortiz tried to talk all types of **** and dissrespect Mayweather and you saw what happened to him during that fight. Gatti tried to get in his head by constantly bringing up his legal issues, and you saw what happened to Gatti. Corrales tried to talk all types of ****, and it backfired big time.

The best way to get into Floyd's head is to beat him. During the rematch, constantly reminding him that his record is no longer perfect, just might do the trick.
