And not Pac? Sorry to say, but this is pathetic. This is the P4P #2 headed into his toughest fight stylisticaly. And just look at him. :blood http://philboxing.com/news/pix/pac-marquez2.la.pr.06.350w.jpg
You may be right. I can tell you this- I saw him at the Juarez vs. Barrera I fight and he was big. He was wearing a baggy button up shirt like this one, but in person you could see he was about 165lbs.
This guy and Vargas are perfect examples of what boxers do. When they are preparing for a fight they take really good care of the bodies. They watch what they eat and train hard. On the off season they drink and eat junk food. This happens as well for baseball and football players. You can see the negative effects more so in boxing because of the profession. In fact I think the conditioning and training of eating so little in the sport of boxing might result in being obese later on after you retire. A lot of boxers tend to be obese after they retire.
It's a valid point, but what Pac does isn't nearly as extreme as what Hatton does. There's this one photo of Hatton as part of a broadcasting team, when he looks like a certifiably obese person and has the sausage fingers to boot. Manny puffs up, but not like that. I do hope he'll take this fight more seriously than he did MAB II.
Very valid point, I think that I have been corrected about the degree of obesity. But.. at the same time, Pac's fights are generaly against more elite fighters, so I still think its a bad idea. :think
Ricky draws attention to himself. He goes around calling himself Ricky Fatton, and wears those T-Shirts of his face on a fat body. He also brags about how he likes to drink beer and eat fatty foods. When you keep mentioning your bad habits, you will get criticized for it.
I agree. It's a concern with Manny. He hasn't seemed to be as dedicated to the sport since Morales II. I tried to find that photo of Hatton but can't locate it.
