Dana White says ref 'destroyed' fight

    "Floyd gets flagrantly head-butted in the face and the ref actually lets (Ortiz) walk up and grab him again after he does it," "(Cortez) never takes control. He never sends in a doctor to make sure Floyd is OK.

    The referee brought the two fighters together then turned his back again to indicate a restart to the timekeeper. Behind him, Mayweather threw a two-punch combination to Ortiz, who still had his hands down, ending the fight. No foul was called and it was ruled a win for Mayweather,

    "It's the worst thing I've ever seen. There are only two big boxing fights a year. This was a multimillion-dollar fight that this one guy destroyed."
    "The referee destroyed that fight," White said.

    I don't know that the ref destroyed anything. Fare dues, he did a complete **** job. He could have been more aware and gotten in between both fighters until both guys were ready to fight....that or had them go to a neutral corner before restarting the action the way he was supposed to. But **** man the fight wasn't a waste of time. It was good while it lasted and frankly (I'll say it) I was pretty ****ing pumped when Mayweather knocked his ass silly....so was the rest of the bar I was in. No waste there.

    The ref didn't ruin ****. Cortez resumed the action clearly and Ortiz wanted to hug again like a ***** and got knocked the **** out. Cortez can't be blamed for Ortiz's idiocy.

    Call him a hater if you wish but straight after the fight I spoke with about 15 of my casual boxing mates, not one was happy. Of those 15 most will probably line Danas pockets now.

    Well Said and its so true.

    Like Dana is Dana but i felt truely like Id pissed me money away on a 4 round farce which was $53 American Dollars so Joe Cortez if you never Ref a big time fight it will be fine by me.

    Im not blaming Ortiz or PBF just Cortez ****ed another fight.

    Most know it just wont say it.

    A casual fan which is fans we need are turning off because they **** like this.

    Im not saying UFC is perfect but having one belt and only rarely having Judges **** over fighters its for a Casual fan a sensible buy.

    Look im not to concerned but it worries me that the powers that be cant get these type issues sorted out.
