If Margarito pummels Cotto as bad as before or worse...

    Does that validate the first win? His career? Does it make any difference at all? If he gets the **** kicked out of him and can't seem to hurt Cotto, are we then convinced he was cheating all along? :think

    The only fight we know Margo tried to cheat in is the Mosley fight. Everything else is purely speculation. It would've been much harder for Margo to cheat in the Cotto fight than in the Mosley fight cause it was fought in Nevada, not in California. The procedures for the handwraps are different. California procedures make it easier to cheat.

    Seems unlikely he'd just decide to cheat for that fight, though, don't you think? Especially considering how terrible Mosley looked in his previous fight against Mayorga.

    On the other hand, why cheat for mosley who was considered over the hill and a guy he was supposed to beat and not do it for a fight where he was the underdog vs prime undefeated cotto right before that?

    oh and a second reason might be that Margo trained like an animal against Cotto but was really not in his best form for the Mosley fight.

    It does for me, and I think Margo does it again.

    Unless Cotto learns how to hit and hold, and put off the macho and does it, same thing will happen again.

    They are both faded and verge of punch drunk.


    Doesn't make when they fought in their primes "legit"

    Margaritos whole career since he joined Capetillo is in question. His KO % jumped.

    Margarito is coming off his best win in his career. He is facing a man who looked shot against Mayorga and who lost to Cotto. He's 1-7 betting fav. Ask yourself why he to start cheating
