Damn manny looks too big, i dont know if hes having weight problems but i remember that in the first fight Marquez was a freaking tower next to Pacman
By the looks of these pics, Pac is well on his way to a showdown with "bigger fish" (DLH, PBF, Hatton, etc
Wow, this the fattest i have seen of Pac. All the succesive food buffets during Christmas, New Year and his Birthday bash really did have an effect on his body. Still im confident that Pac will win this one if he comes into shape during fight night.
Pac doesnt blow up too much in between fights. He's probably hovering around 160 in those pics. Marquez on the other hand looks in shape. Training already?
No he wouldn't because he'd face a lawsuit. Pac knows better than for someone to goad him into a fight. You'd have to get through his 20 bodyguards to do that. Two things about filipinos, they like their shoes and they like a good watch.
Pacquiao doesnt look fat at all. He ballooned in weight he reminds me of Arturo Gatti type weight gain. If anything pacman looks about 150-155 he doesnt look in the 140's especially know manny has big legs and calves his upper body looks fuller and his face. If you look at his face for the last fight with mab, pacman looked like skeletor and marco looked short but not even drained. pac has never reached 160 in between fights. at most, he's probably in the low to mid 150s now. his fighting weight is about mid-140s. he'll probably just shed off around 8 pounds to get to fighting weight. meeting the 130 lb limit will be harder though. but w/ 8 weeks to go, he should be able to do it. hopefully, the effort to make 130 doesn't affect him in the fight though. however, this fight should definitely be his last @130. pac has already outgrown the superfeather division.
ya I agree but you never know because pacman is one of those guys who looks small but he probally has dEnse or heavy bones also muscle weighs more then fat too and pacman has lots of lean muscle and huge calves so him being 160 is not out of question. but I am leaning more toward the 150's as well. I think he knows how hard it was for him to cut weight for the MAb fight so thats why he is training longer 8 weeks in the wild card gym he cannot mess around he will spend the first few weeks losing weight adjusting his diet and then the week of the fight he will be around 140 and just cut the water weight. but doesnt it amaze you how the guy used to fight at 106? damn I dont know many guys recently who fought at 106-108 or even 112 when they started and then went up this high in weight and still dominate.
pacman at 122 was a beast I agree. I love that fight with lucero man he was fast and like a cat and he just had some precision and nailed lucero with one nice timed counter shot and he was wobbling. Also how he demolished julio, and ledwaba. To be honest I never ever thought pacman would be able to last at 130! I still remember when they interviewed him they said he doesnt belong at 126 marco will be to big for him, he belongs at 122, then when pacman move up to 130 lost to morales they said he doesnt belong at 130 morales too big for him and it showed, then later he showed up with more lean muscle then morales weighing like 144 for both fights. Reminds me of Duran if you ask me.
