Burns v Katsidis/Groves v Smith set for November 5th at Wembley

    According to Frank ****** Promotions, former super-featherweight world champion Ricky Burns and two-time belt-holder Michael Katsidis will square off on November the 5th at Wembley for the WBO interim lightweight title previously held by Robert Guerrero.

    The bout will be screened live on BOXNATION (Sky channel 456) in the UK, Frank ******’s new TV venture and is set to be Burns’ first bout at 130lbs. The 28 year-old made three successful defences of his 126lb belt, but gave it up last week as a bout with mandatory challenger Adrien Broner loomed in the US.
    Katsidis, 31, has fought twice in the UK before, battering Graham Earl and Kevin Mitchell in five and three rounds respectively and held the title in 2007 and 2009-2010.

    The tough Aussie recently got back to winning ways against Michael Lozada in his home country after two defeats in thrilling Las Vegas fights to Juan Manuel Marquez and Robert Guerrero.
    Also set for the bill is George Groves’ first defence of the British super-middleweight title he ripped from rival James DeGale in May as he takes on former champion Paul Smith. The 23 year-old was originally touted to fight at the Echo Arena on December 17th but the bout has now been put forward.


    More big names are expected to be added to the bill in what will be a blockbuster fireworks night for Frank ****** Promotions and BOXNATION

    I'm going to complain about any boxing bill that is 1 good fight. It is promising when we see cards that are 2 or 3 deep in GOOD fights.

    Burns vs Katsidis
    Groves vs Smith

    Legit fights that I'm excited about.

    Any news on Chisora, he was suppose to be out in October, maybe Fwank can get him a fight for the vacant WBF title, Another World champ in the stable :lol:

    the box nation website is littered with spelling errors.

    they spelt "amateur" as amature

    Wanted Groves v Smith on the Echo Arena bill next month but that doesn't look bad. If Frank ****** keeps putting bills like this on its worth paying £10 a month for Boxnation.
