The problem for Manny is that Floyd has fast feet and the better footwork. Floyd is also a master at controlling the range against his opponents. Manny is the smaller man as well and he has been out boxed by lesser boxers than Floyd. That lunging is the thing that's going to get him caught and hurt.

Ehh the timing doesn't have to be perfect, all you have to do is read their step in and come in with a straight (in this matchup since its opposing stances)

you're trying to talk about how important facts are in one sentence then following it up in the next sentence with your worthless opinion

still waiting for you to find one of my posts talking about Floyd's Castillo fight:hi:

Manny will do better than Ortiz, obviously, but not by much. Floyd will control the fight and beat him down over 12. Of course, that's assuming they fight. I don't think they will, and don't really care if they do at this point.

There's footage of Bernard explaining that guys who bounce and lunge are even more susceptible to great timing and countering. emmanuel is no exception, just AZZk Juan and Tijuana

I wouldn't say it's better, but I admit it's damn good. To control range in a fight against Pac, he'll need to fight differently from the way he fought Mosley and Tree. Now, Roach says Floyd's legs are gone, so if true he's gonna have a hard time dealing with Pac, who'd be popping in and out all night. Of course, Roach might just be talking ****.

The lunge punch will leave Pac vulnerable, so Floyd can do something about it if he gets the timing right. Alternatively, he can just fight walking backwards to make it hard for Pac to connect with a lunge punch. Put simply, Floyd's got options.

Bernard is the perfect example of a fighter whose overall connect isn't so high because he doesn't try to land most of his jabs.

I think it'd have to be against Pac, because he lunges fast. Plus, he uses feints a lot, making it harder to read when he's coming into range.

He said it was a cramp, which is possible considering how big his calf muscles are. Now, if we see something similar when he fights Marquez, then his legs might be "shot", like you said.

  14. floyd landing 35% of his jabs last week is still a higher connect percentage then half of all boxers.

You can see him practicing his jab in his training. One thing about Floyd is even if you know exactly what hes going to do by his open training, you still can't stop him from doing it to you.
