had gave all the credit in the world to Mayweather he had actually said it was a great performance my Mayweather and it was the best we've seen in a long time all that prior to the interview. Even in the interview he said nothing wrong that discredited mayweather. So maybe it was that mayweather acted like that cause he knew what was the next question. Or maybe he just misunderstood what Merchant was doing cause he was really asking a question that the people wanted to know about.
Don't forget he blasted Kellerman, too. A guy who hangs off his nuts incessantly. Floyd is just a *****, end of story.
If you look at the interview, as Larry is asking his questions they are replaying the end of the fight and the crowd starts showering FLoyd with more boos everytime the sucker punch is shown. You can actually see's Floyd's reaction. He knew what he did!
They were both in the wrong, but Floyd, I swear...he really needs to grow the **** up. Throwing a tantrum like a child...:-(
Lets get over this, lets move on as boxing fans. If Floyd can direspect his dad who is Larry. Btw Larry is also a very disrespectul old man. Lets move on pliz, its getting too boring now.:smoke:-(
Merchant has been incompetent for the bulk of his career. He has went too far abusing Floyd and other fighters in the past and Floyd finally called him out on it. It's far from a big deal and I wouldn't be surprised HBO phases out Larry within the next year.
I wonder why May's answer to the same question the first two times wasn't good enough for Larry? Floyd had answered the same question twice already quite professionally. Reckon Larry wasn't satisfied with Floyd's reaction yet, so he re-worded and went for it a third time? And if he's so interested in asking about Pac, why be so stuck on that same question and not just get to it?
:good Don't get me wrong, there are many times when I enjoy Merchant's performances. With that said though, he went into that ring with an agenda....
Love Floyd and Larry, but Floyd's emotion was too much at the moment. I think he felt something upsetting approaching and just cut it off. Floyd jumped the gun a bit but its forgivable. Merchant wil be there when he calls Pacquaio vs Floyd. It will happen.
It was scripted. Schaefer signalled for Floyd to end the interview. Floyd went off out of nowhere and from nothing, after looking at Schaefer give his nods. When Floyd pissed off out of there, Schaefer also followed him, instead of staying to watch Ortiz give his interview. It had nothing to do with Merchant's questions. They didn't want to talk about Pacquiao when they have inhouse fights scheduled ahead.
