Floyd against the top middleweights he could contend with. They by size would be stronger and hit harder.Martinez and Geale would be tough fights for Mayweather. He would have to attack like Pacquiao constantly while maintaining his slick defense and brake them down as Pacquiao did when he fought David Diaz.

on contrary, I think that Arum would want this fight to happen. Its a huge money generating fight for both men because Chavez carries a recognizable name with Mexican fans. This fight would he hyped out of proportions, and frankly Chavez has a punches chance against little Floyd...it would undoubtedly be a target practice for Mayweather but Chavez has a chance.

People really underestimate Sturm. Tight defense with good jab, and just too big for Floyd. Nope. He'd have a better chance against Geale, but again he's too big and active. Floyd wouldn't fight Margarito because he didn't have power back then to keep him off, it'd be the same thing here.

Only way Floyd wins a MW title is if he convinces someone like Martinez to come in at 155 and he's weight drained.

Floyd wouldn't have to convince anyone. Sexy Sergio has already convinced himself that he can make 154 by next year.

No doubt Arum would want it, he'd make more from Chavez off that fight than maybe he would from the rest of his career. Problem is Floyd only fights Golden Boy fighters now and hates Arum so bad he won't ever make a fight with one of his fighters.

If Pacquio does not happen, its his only option to even the playing field with Pacquaio. Floyd can easliy beat the slow striking Chavez. Same with Sturm. Stay the hell away from Martinez. Maravilla is a dangerous man.

Floyd is too small for MW but he could beat Chavez jr. because I really dont think he's very good.

So a quick recap, Floyd is too small for chavez jr but the skill gap is very wide so floyd would win off skill and chavez jr. doesnt have good power!

Floyd is too small for sergio martinez and the skill level wouldnt be wide. Sergio also has good power so floyd wouldnt want to take this bout. IMO

Floyd has no business at MW.

DLH looked small compared to Sturm, imagine Floyd. I don't see it.

Mmmmmm, I don't know. That would take some very careful matchmaking on Maryweather's part but that's not what Floyd's about!

he should go after Sturm. Sturm B-sided an Oscar PPV when Oscar won a MW belt. Screwjob or not.
