Marquez, Pac, and their trainers with Kellerman where watching the second fight on a jumbo screen. Kellerman asks Marquez if he thought he won, and he says yes. The same question to Pac to which he says yes and then laughs and says, "This is why we're having a third fight."

The fight will probably be a blowout, and perhaps this isn't thread-worthy. But for those that didn't know (I didn't know there was even going to be a faceoff) the faceoff appears to be done in a new presentation by looking at the previous Marquez-Pac fights I suppose. I also liked how both trainers were there. Marquez rarely speaks English so I was surprised by how good his English sounded.

The faceoff premieres Saturday at 12:15 AM

Pac has to have Roach because Pac will just smile at his opponent and talk something about "good pight, por pans, train hard," kinda lame, really. Roach vs Nacho might be more entertaining.

All throughout the promotion the two fighters have been waaaay too friendly for people who had two controversial wars. We might end up with another dud a la Mosley or Clottey, though ESB repeatedly assures JMM would rather die in the ring than run. Idk, time will tell I guess...

But screw this face-off. Cotto vs Margarito II is where it's at

its a step backwards......when the fight was announced...everyone was shaking their heads...the only good thing about it, is pac is one of the guys that will be in the ring...no one cares about JMM at this point in pacs career

On the contrary, their promotion tour has been the biggest since, idk, Pac/Hatton it looks like.

People still want closure regardless of how over due this rematch is, the same can be said about cotto/margarito but obviously those 2 are at a closer stage in their careers. Im personally not really looking forward to pac/jmm but marquez is and has been a great fighter and deserves this payday....but we'll see at what cost.

It's funny, before the fight was announced, there were a lot of people saying Marquez deserves a 3rd fight.

The reason I'm watching it, is because of Marquez, Marquez has giving us more exiting fights than pac in the last 3 years. 2 Fights of The Year:deal and the fight should be at 140:bart

i dont see why the need for such a huge promotion.....oh yes, wait...they have to build it up all over again and "sell it" to joe public as they did the farce with sugar shane

yeah the same people who think khan should rematch prescott, thought jones-hopkins II was a good idea, and haye-klitschko II needs to happen

not saying its a horrible fight, but bigger fish to fry than JMM who has never had a win at 140 or 147

To be fair, there's only one fight at 147 and below that will likely give Pac a real challenge. Right now, they're going with the only fighter who has a reasonable possibility of troubling Pac at 147 and below who is not named Mayweather.

It's a pretty meaningless fight. Any outcome apart from a Pacquiao KO win would be an upset for me. That's how competitive it is.
