"Controversial Fight #2": Marco Antonio Barrera vs Erik Morales I.

2nd for Morales

3rd for Barrera

 

Can't remembering how I scored it Barrera won the fight and anyone who disagrees knows nothing about boxing.

 

Ridiculous statement, a hard to score razor close fight is not a robbery, Morales threw & landed more than Barrera, just for the record.

Watched this one a zillion times..never could figure out in my head how two young superstars would go at each other like this..Pure dynamite drama this fight was..MAB turned me from a casual fan of his to a regular fan of his with this perfomance..He would,of course turn me into a lifetime fan with his clinic on Hamed..considering where he'd been with the Junior Jones fights..

Back to the fight though..I had it 7-5 for Barrera..Was far from a robbery though..Morales was in there for every mile..Could have gone either way..Morales just allowed Barrera to come back on him in the later rounds..after doing so well in the mid rounds..even so,the rounds were close..just that Barrera's aggressive moments were clearer than Morales's..if that makes sense.
