I've noticed this as well actually, there's usually always something about him in the papers after he outpoints his latest Afro-Bum opponent in a gym hall in Aberdeen.

It's baffling, as McCallister is a totally irrelevant fighter. He's like a worse version of Anthony Mundine, fighting bums in front of a local crowd who think he's great, calling out top fighters whilst having no intentions of ever stepping up (He doesn't want another beating like he got off Murray) and having the cheek to call himself a 'multi-weight' champion. **** Lee McCallister.

There’s not much news in Aberdeen. He’s something of a celebrity up there.

I actually think he is a a good domestic boxer but why he isnt mixing it more on the domestic scene I have no idea. I thought he was outboxing Murray until he switched off and started taking stupid punches.

Good promoter, north of Scotland's best fighter, talks a big game. People genuinely thought he was a world champ. He's got the euro champ next apparently, although this has been said many times before

because his manager (Gilmour) has contacts in the press and there is literally no-one else in the north of scotland.

You know i actually thought the exact same thing the other day!!

I hear of him defending whatever title he has up Aberdeen all the time but he's never on the tv and never fighting anyone worth a pinch, he needs to step up and actually fight decent fighters.

Lee is a talented Lad , no doubt he'd mix it with the top boys at lighweight. His management are obviously a bit worried about risking him because he generates so much ££ up there. I think he should take the risk- he's a good fighter.

Has anyone seen the current euro champ? Do you think Lee could beat him?

He is always on the local news when he has a fight coming up. People up here in Aberdeen genuinely think he is amazing, no doubt some think he is a world champ.

Don't know why he keeps fighting these no hopers when he is a good fighter. has fought nothing but bums since losing to Murray.

never seen him before but if he can make good £££ doing what he does good luck to him, although not on same level but sometimes boxers become local celebs only and not national, examples peter mcneely and virgil hill

Has his defence got any better since fighting Murray? He was taking some bad shots through out the fight! and is he still as cockey?
