    This thread was made a while ago and due to unfortunate events it's now a possibility**


    Robert Guerrero schools cuddlelicios Ortiz and stops him in 8-10 rounds by either K.O. or quitage of some sort. Guerrero has the discipline and boxing skills to counter Ortiz every round and maybe even the power to keep Ortiz at bay with his weak mind and heart.

    I believe Guerrero easily boxes Maidana into a MD not taking anything away from Maidana but the style is wrong for Maidana, it lowers stock while it establishes Guerrero as a solid Jr. Welter.

    I agree, not sure about easily, but I would have expected Guerrero to rip Maidana with combinations continually.

    Guerrero-Ortiz is not a bad shout, we could probably see that at some point anyway if this GoldenBoy tournament comes off. I'd favour Ortiz on the basis that we haven't seen Guerrero at Welter.

    I think he can win alot of fightsat higher weights with just his boxing abilities. I believe he might be a future p4p star

    That could turn into fight of the year.

    I see Guererro being one level above Rios, Ortiz and Maidana in terms of talent.

    Ortiz vs Rios has to happen for me.

    Haha yeah, as much as ill root for rios Ortiz was given that punch and id hate for him to connect to rios chin and just watch rios humongous heart try to get up and just stumble and fall.

    Funny how it only takes one fight for one to get overrated, the other to get underrated. For the full picture on Guerrero put the Salido, Casamayor, Yordan etc. fights next to Katsidis, and for Ortiz, there's the Berto one to see how he can handle speed and skills, the Floyd fight is a little misleading.

    Guerrero would step on dangerous ground fighting a 158lbs Victor Ortiz and I'm yet to be convinced he can handle a fast, very powerful, full-grown WW boxer-puncher, which Katsidis was not.

    Ortiz by UD outpowering Guerrero, possibly scoring a couple of KDs.

    You don't think The Ghost superior boxing, intelligence, heart and countering would be what it takes to take Victors predictability and confidence away in the first rounds? Yes Victor looked sensational in the first round against Berto but remember, IT WAS UNPROVEN BERTO........ LOOK what peterson did.

    It pissed me off so much when the Maidana fight got cancelled. We would have found out if the Ghost was good at 140 with that fight as no one has it easy with Maidana.
