Shane Mosley vs Oscar de la Hoya 1.

Oscar had been on the wrong end of a very bad decision two fights prior against Felix Trinidad. He was by all rights clearly the best pound for pound fighter in the world. Mosley had been the premier lightweight in the world but hadn't really faced any super tough opposition at the weight and his jump to welterweight saw him struggle with Wilfredo Rivera and blow out the overmatched Willy Wise. Thinking back now Oscar should have been the clear favourite but Mosley outfought a game de la Hoya who was appeared to be the bigger man on the night. First man to beat de la Hoya in my opinion who is pretty much tied for best fighter of the 90's with Whitaker in my opinion. Truly brilliant win.

That being said, the three best fighters in the last 20 years in my opinion are as follows.

    Pernell Whitaker
    Manny Pacquiao
    Oscar de la Hoya

No one beat Pernell in his prime so theres no one to claim the greatest win right there. I can see the argument for Morales-Pacquiao 1 being the best win of the last 20 years but...there are one or two reasons why I think Mosley-de la Hoya 1 is the best.

If Boxing fans put stock into every lingering excuse, there wouldn't be any good wins to talk about. C'mon bro. I love Barrera, but he got his butt whipped, and he would have regardless of any forest fire and such.

    floyd againsts ortiz.

that 2 piece combo took out a heavy bag that looked like ortiz and people paid money to see it.

You know... I noticed that too after posting but I think it's still pretty relevant.

This. Hamed had great power & an awkward style, he was also amateurish, off balance most of the time & easy pickings for a fighter of Barreras quality. Even I saw an ass kicking coming long before they fought, the only thing that suprised me was that Hamed finished on his feet, so kudos for that.

    Anyway......Tyson v Holyfield 1.

Hard to rate this. Pacman vs. Oscar was a good one for some reason.
