Of course clottey is. He has better defense, chin, heart, ring movement, combinations, etc.... And yeah he threw the fight with pacman. I called it too. Thats what happens when 2 guys with the same promoter fight though.

Floyd still beats him however. Would be a lot closer than what people would think though.

Yeah. Still less of a threat. So, less than virtually no threat.

Clottey would be a bigger threat, But! Clottey would get shut out just like Ortiz was getting shut out.

Ortiz has a higher KO ratio than Pac... :admin And all of Pacs knockouts bar Cotto was against guys on their way out. Past their best heading for the pastures. :rofl Fugging *******s have no soul.

No. Not active or accurate enough. At his best he could definitely give Mayweather a good fight and Pacquiao(not the Clottey that threw 8 punches a round) but style wise Ortiz was/is a tougher fight. Southpaw, speed, power, aggressive, active..... all thing that Mayweather has had problems with. Mayweather has never had a problem with a guy fighting on the outside trying to outbox him.

clottey would make ortiz quit like he did maidana. Clottey by ortiz giving up or by sucker punch.

If Mayweather and Clottey fights, that would be an all time high for the lowest punch ever thrown in a fight.

I don't think Mayweather would open up against Clottey and Clottey would be waiting for Mayweather to open up. It would damn be a long waiting game.

Ortiz is a plodder and Mayweather was more offensive because Ortiz is always in his face. Against JMM, Mayweather waited for JMM to open up. He actually was the counterpuncher against a feloow counterpuncer.

Mayweather will win because he is faster than Clottey. But the problem with that turtle shell defense is that it is so unpredictable when he shoots up his counter. It is always playing a possum in that kind of defense. Clottey will connect by virtue of that alone, no matter how fast Gayweather's reflexes are. But it would not be enough.

If you watch Clottey fight, it is not who is more talented. It is simply that Clottey does not throw punches when the opponent is still punching.

It is like he is waiting for a lull in action then he throws his firepower.

Against Pac, that was useless style because Pac was throwing more than 120 punches per round.
