we all know chambers is a big fav for this one..but would we rather see the tiger pull out his carer best performance and beat eddie to set up a rematch with wlad..chambers winning will prob lead to eddie not taking his chance to fight again (and who would blame him) but thompson would jump into the ring.and did do decently against wlad a few years back...what are your thoughts??

I don't care to see either guy get another shot at Wlad. I pick Chambers though on points in a fairly competitive fight, but these guys are not in the same league as Wlad right now or never, I can't see them doing any better against him in a rematch.

Sux that promoters wouldn't get Thompson a decent fight until he was mid30s, guy was a huge fav of mine back in the late 90s while he was doing USA TNF.

But, I think he might be like 39 or something, and while a little more of a power threat to Wlad, I don't think he honestly has the tools to do as well as he did a second time against Wlad.

Eddie still has them great feet, and fast hands as his nickname suggests, and while his power is on the low side, I do think he does have enough to rattle the Champ. But will likely be KOd while trying.

eddie dosnt have enough power to hurt wlad atall...and as weve already seen he was comprehensivly outboxed by wlad who coasted till the 10th round

Eddie was tentative in that fight. We'll know more after the Thompson fight if Fast Eddie might be a little more agressive come Wald Chambers2:good

As much as I like Eddie he has ZERO chance against Wlad. He was outboxed and out knocked by him.
He seems to have great personality, seems like a humble and down to earth guy, who has the tools to beat anyone outside the Klitschkos, there should be no rematch.

i like eddie i think hes very very underated..but he has no chance against wlad..wlad coasted the whole fight then went for the knockout and got it...thompson tho has power which eddie dosnt..hes also similar in size which would give us something we havnt seen wlad do in a while and thats beat someone his size...

I want to see Eddie come to this fight in shape. He is a great talent and if he gets a rematch with Wlad it will be interesting because unlike other fighters who have fought Wlad twice (Peter, Brewster etc) no-one can say Eddie isn't still totally in his prime.

He has seen Wlads power, tecnique and speed. Now what can he do better this time?

Chambers has the skills to beat Wladimir, but he is just too small. Chambers is the smallest top 10 heavyweight, I mean he can easily weigh 190. He's just like Byrd, he's been fighting at an inappropriate weight class for him, but can easily drop down if he wanted to.

i thought about that aswell but i honestly think eddie just dosnt have an answer for wlad..not even to make it a closer fight but still lose..itl be another shut out...i dont even think eddie will get into the ring again anytime soon...

It would be cool (if Fast Eddie wins this fight) to see him go after a rematch with Povetkin. I have a feeling Atlas wouldn't let the fight happen though. Chagaev had Povetkin in trouble once or twice when they fought and I think Chambers would school Pov if they fought again

Chambers vs Povetkin would be a better fight. I think Thompson is done altogether.

Wlad should fight Povetkin as well and Helenius (once he is ready), give Haye a rematch (like it or not, he is probably still the 3rd best HW in the world today and a KO in a rematch would actually do something for Wlad's legacy).
