How would you see this fight playing out? The Winky that bet Mosley verses the Cotto that fought and bet Judah, Mosley, and Gomez? I see Cotto landing nice shots but Winky outworking him, Like he did with Sugar Shane. Winky 118-111, 117-112, 117-113 Winky Wright. How does it play out?

Well the Winky Wright that beat Mosley was fighting at 154 pounds and he fought at 154 through the prime of his career so at 147 id pick Cotto by close ud 115-113. But if where just talking both fighters at there best and weight doesnt make a difference then Winky jabs Cotto's head off winning in the margin of 118-110. Too cute a boxer Winky and would put on a Trinidad type performance.

    Could Winky even make 147?
I'd assume that a weight drained Winky get's beaten by a Terminator like Miguel Cotto, who everyone belived was the next P4P king.
If Winky isn't weight drained, or the fight takes place at 154, he beats Cotto by UD, defence is too good + he's natrually bigger and would land that jab all night, Cotto would have moments, hooking to the body.

This isn't even competitive unless the 147 limit (weight impairing Winky's health) is the point of this strange comparative. Winky has a FAR FAR longer reach, height/size advantage, and is ten times the fighter in terms of aggregate skills, jab, chin, and toughness. Cotto wouldn't have a chance in a million of winning. The best imaginable scenario would be he survives twelve but loses every single round (assuming that Margo had loaded gloves and that the completely shot fighter of today would have been sturdier in 2007-2008 and not crumbled as Winky repeatedly taps him in the head over and over for twelve shutout rounds).

You might as well say who wins between Cotto from 2007/2008 and Winky if Wright had an ankle sprain, the flu, and just got out of a cast for a broken wrist four weeks before the fight. The 2003 version of Winky was a veteran titlist accustomed to making the 154 limit the day before the fight not 147. The last time he made 147 was 1992.

Those picking Winky are idiots. No way he beats any top fighter weight drained at 147. There's a reason he never fought there at a high level....

At 154, he beats Cotto convincingly.
