Would people pay £20 per month...

    As soon as there is a PPV on BN I am out.

    I don't believe there will be though.

    This is how I see it. If they offered a complete comprehensive service screening all fights in HD, with an on demand service and a replay channel then it'd be worth considering. Otherwise, Sky sports, espn classic, youtube and streaming the ppv's for free online will suffice me.

    Nah anything above £10 per month i feel most people won't bother, £10 is just nicely priced, most people are waiting to see what content is like first before even bothereing subscribing for £10 so if they charge more than that or try and pull a fast one with ppv on top i'll be offski!!

    20 quid a month is a bit steep like....**** me u can get a daft runabout/second car on ticky for 20 sheets a month!

    Certainly, I'd pay this.

    But that would have to include every fight whether hbo Showtime or espn, german and Mexican cards and be free from all ppv.

    Not a chance I'd pay that whatever the circumstances.

    Dont mind £10 a month if they get the likes of Donaire, Gamboa and Goldenboys better fighters but wont bother at all if not. While the Bunce hour etc might be good you are basically paying for 4 nights a month so if its just ******, Sauerland and the odd card from America I'm not paying anything.

    Happy to pay the £10 per month but if they start charging for PPV then I'm out.

    For £10 a month we should still be getting the big shows every week.

    Don't know how this model is meant to work.

    What if he has a fight that is PPV quality/there is demand from the general public? What is meant to happen? You'll have tonnes of people who would pay for it but won't commit to pay £10 a month for a year.

    I suppose 'the whispers' could mean PPV for non-subscribers?

    I think I was being stupid here actually, nothing to see, move on.

    Interesting point trotter.

    If boxnation moved to a ppv model whilst still being a subscription based channel how would this work?

    The reason I asked the initial question is that there always seems to have been demand for a dedicated boxing channel, but subscription seems to be appealing by showing prospects and top fights from around tge globe. I just thought it was worth gauging the basis on which people would be prepared to subscribe.
    Ppv will always be a possibilty IMO for this channel due to needing increases in revenue.

    How about non subscribers pay £15 flat fee for ppv and existing subscribers get it for £5
