If not Pacquiao, who's next for Mayweather to fight with?

If he fought Ortiz and made good PPV buys then don't be surprised to see him fight likes of Khan, Maidana, Morales, Berto or even Kell Brook.

 

Not a damn body IMO... Khan isn't ready... He's not fighting Martinez.... Who else can he fight? Arum's not giving him any other Top Rank fighter to face besides Pac, although I'm not too sure he's willing to give him Pac yet either.

 

Assuming Floyd takes 12 months off then I see Khan as the most likely opponent.

It would be an exciting fight & generate good revenue with GBP trying to emulate Hatton esque media frenzy.

It will be good to see Khan debut 147 with a fight against Ortiz although I'm not sure what credibility Ortiz has as a fighter after the farce of a fight against Mayweather.

 

Floyd is in a tough spot in November because if Pac doesn't agree to test, the only options is Ortiz (he may already sign to fight Berto) and Sergio.

Khan is already signed for a fight
Bradley is non-existent right now
Mike Jones has a fight scheduled
Cotto and Margo are scheduled to fight


So unless he waits a while, he's go to fight Pac or Sergio

Kell Brook, don't get carried away. Floyd fights class opponents, not untested domestic British fighters. Morales is another 0%. I don't know where people come up with this ****. Berto wouldn't get the fight unless he beats someone of consequence in his next fight, Bailey isn't enough. If he doesn't challenge a SMW, then I'd be beyond surprised if it's anyone other than Manny or Amir. If Bradley doesn't sign with TR, another possibility.
