The problems not the **** titles in my opinion. Its that the media swallows the bull**** promoters put forward as world title fights. Lets be real its happened since Eubank-Watson.
Easy solution - say they are fighting for said belt (WBU, IBO etc) but just don't acknowledge them as a world champ. Hell even do it for the big four unless they have cleaned out a division.
Talking of Eubank...anyone else noticed that if you close your eyes and listen to Ed robinson (no homo) that he went to chris Eubanks school of elocution lessions? Just me then....
jamie moores fitness was terrible the mans only been out of the ring for a little over a year, i was expecting him to do allot better
t Divisions hardly ever get cleaned out these days. Fighters either lose or move up in weight before that happens.
Easy tiger!! They didn't show the full session I was put through, only little snips, so how could you possibly gather enough info from those little bits to determine how "fit" I am??! Let me tell you, it was a HARD session. Did the great north run for charity last week in 1hr 34mins, so can't be that unfit! I'll have you a race...... :good
That might be the reason Nelson has got the job presenting the show! He doesn't look comfortable presenting and is difficult to understand
Just watched it. I thought this week's was good overall but the hypocrisy of Sky saying there's too many titles and sanctioning bodies out there when they are one of the main reasons it's got like this is laughable. They're all too happy (or were.. ¬.¬) calling Nathan Cleverly the world champion even though he's done **** all. They hyped Haye through the roof as heavyweight champion when he wasn't and now they mock Povetkin for doing the same thing :-( Within the hour they managed to promote the WBA Middleweight title, knock it by claiming it wasn't the real championship, praise it again by saying Sturm's a good champion (even though he lost to Macklin) and then rip their 3 champions at that weight to pieces only to ****ing advertise a fight coming up for it atsch
:good big time. if they really wanted to they could bite the bullet and call it as it is. The truth is there are very few 'world champs' in boxing. Froch isnt a world champ Haye wasnt a world champ Khan is - but only because Bradley ****ed off In fact - are Wlad Klit and Hopkins the only 'real' world champs about!?
Just don't recognize them as a world champ until they do, just call them a belt holder. Sure there will probably only be about five champs in all the divisions but that's the way it is anyway.
just bring back WBC only world title and say the ring belt if the wbc belt holder beats the top 5 in the rank list........ all the other titles are ****ing bollocks really...........lets make a title belt for everyone who gets beat so they feel better and can still have the title of world champ in their next fight so it sells tickets/tv etc.... what was said about martinez being the true world champion is right, so whats the point in all the other belts they mean **** all...............pointless.
