Someone like... Hamed.. for example, who dominated because of athleticism, would have a shorter career than some like say...JMM...who dominated because of toughness and technique (see Hopkins and to a lesser degree, Morales).

That's why its easier to hang around at higher weight classes where there are less opponents who are quick and nimble, than at a lower weights.
