And it would be the right path to the final showdown. Bute who was left out of the S6 and Kessler who had to withdraw because of and eye injury (after beating one of the finalist) fight it out to see who should face the winner of the tournament. Make it happen :bbb
I think its only a matter of time before Kessler Froch II, Froch want that rematch, and Kessler wouldn't mind facing Facing Froch again.
I know it's hard to understand, but some of these fighters want to be the best... If they are defeated by another fighter they want to get back up, train and beat the crap out of the other fighter.... It's a weird world if you have been sitting in front of your computer eating burgers and drinking coca cola your whole life...
Showtime wants to unify the division on PPV --> 2 belt in the S6, 1 belt under contract for now, adding the last one soon. Plus they probably had a say in whether to make Bute-Kessler this Fall or this Spring when negotiations were on the go. More money that way, more buildup. Must have been seen like a pretty long term investment at the planning stage. This is Showtime's work, we are gearing up for a unification in 10 to 15 months. That's great exposure for the SMW division, the unification buildup will be HUGE!!
To warrant a rematch you should have made a good account of yourself in the ring. Kessler got destroyed. It wasn't close, it wasn't controversial. It was a beatdown of epic proportion. Kessler needs to understand his limitations. But hey. , easy payday for ward if they make this fight again
Not winning one rd and getting the living **** beat out of you until it gets mercifully stopped is no way to warrant a rematch. Once ward whoops Carl froch you will have to worry about whether Kessler even belongs in the same building, much less the same ring
An american saying it wasn't controversial... An american saying Kessler didn't win a round... An american saying Kessler was mercifully stopped... :nut Go eat a burger you delusional ****...
