I think Vera wins due to his style and heart but Lee is a good fighter, So was McEwan but I think that Vera takes it in a good fight.

Firstly, Lee's last fight was a shut out. Steward said it was Lee's best performance.

You're talking about the McEwan fight where he did look poor in fairness. But McEwan is no bum so let's not get carried away. He did after all beat the guy who you claim will have Lee on the canvas tonight. Lee has never touched the canvas in his life and I can't see it happening tonight. There's a possibility he gets stopped on his fight alright, but he ain't getting knocked out.

I see a Lee points decision myself.

    War Lee!

If Lee Boxes an uses his feet he'll win UD.
If Lee stands in front of Vera and trades with him its 50/50 and the man with the better conditioning and/or chin wins.

Lee screwed himself in last fight against Vera... not taking anything away from Vera but Andy just fuked it up..

He will win this time around.

Come on Andy it is your time man!:deal

I think people's confidence in Lee is misplaced. The first time Vera and Lee met, young Andy got the **** beat out of him. There were times in the last couple rounds when Vera was literally just walking forward with his hands down and blasting Lee with huge overhand and roundhouse rights. Andy looked seriously hurt and totally lost when the ref finally stopped it. All he had left was his ability to throw punches reflexively.

Since then I've seen every fight that each guy fought. With the exception of the Mc Ewan fight, Vera improves with every fight, and the 5 losses give him a pretty deceptive record. The combined record of the fighters Brian lost to was 89 wins -- 1 loss. Brian Vera has had some real bad nights, but only against fighters who were either pretty good fighters, or could really ****ing crack.

The loss to Mc Ewan wasn't necessary. Vera fought like a ******ed 12 year old girl. He seemed to think he could just walk in and blast Craig out. Even after it was obvious he could not do that, Brian did not adjust at all. Consequently Craig boxed Vera's ears off.

The first time I saw Andy Lee he was on FNF. I think it was his 4th or 5th fight. Back then I was impressed, but he really hasn't improved much. He seems like your typical Irish tough-guy who fights with his heart and balls instead of his brain and a good game plan.

I honestly have no particular bias for or against either combatant. Both these kids are entertaining, humble, likable, articulate, and good for boxing. However, I expect Andy Lee to get beat up worse in fewer rounds than he did in the first fight. At some point, early in the fight, Brian will start landing that big right hand, and young Andy will respond exactly like he did in the first outing.

The thing that intrigues me most about this fight is that there is a decent possibility that the fight will turn out to be the exact opposite of what I just predicted.

Lee will win, his stamina is much improved and he is the better boxer. I think vera has improved too but lee has more tools. I expect lee to be more cautious than last time, win the early rounds then KO Vera in 8 or 9 rounds when vera gets reckless and desperate

Lee should win easily, IF he's smart enough to stay outside.

I'm very curious to see if he's improved at all since their last fight. (esp his skills up close) I suspect so, and it should be interesting.

Of course, Vera might also have improved, but I suspect not. He seems to be the same old, aggressive slugger. (not necessarily a bad thing.)

It should be a great fight. A real clash of styles & 2 guys that like to really bring it.
