    I agree 100% BigBone. This is not the fight to be made. But why would Floyd fight Cotto or Williams? Fighting Cotto and Williams is a much better matchup for Mayweather, but DLH is a bigger name, bigger draw, which leads to a bigger payday for both. I totally agree with Floyd fighting DLH again.

    The first fight actually hurt boxing... because so many people tuned in to be let down... the second fight will be no differant.

    that is why this fight shouldnt be made...

    Lets not forget the fact that DLH is the better fighter out of all the names you suggest for FM....it seems that you all want to see FM fight these up and coming WW...but you fail to give Oscar the credit he deserves...and since it was a close fight in which he CHASED Mayweather all over the ring to make him fight...then Oscar does deserve a rematch....He made great adjustments for the second Mosley fight....and I do not see any reason he would not make good adjustments for this one...now that he knows his opponent will run and not commit inside the ring....In any event, two big name fighters such as these fight for more than just money....no matter what anyone says...NO BOXER LIKES TO LOSE...money may sooth things over...but lets be serious here...DLH has a ton of money already..it means more to him than $$$......alot of the people on this site are against this fight because they are true believers in Cotto/Williams and even Cintron...my line on that is...FM and DLH fought all the big names during their rise to super stardom...they were in wars....Cotto/Williams/Cintron have NOT...they still need to fight eachother...to have a legitemate stable of names on their resume....Cotto gets the step up on the others for his close victory over Mosley....other than that, if this fight happens then it will be a well deserved rematch between two of the greatest fighters in this generation....nuff said. :thumbsup

    Yeah, that's what I thought. The promoters are carefully wathing the internet media but I'm not sure they are reading the forums too... (but you can't rule out that DLH himself is hinding under some crazy nickname. Or is it Floyd himself who is opening these crazy 'ATG' and 'overrated' threads? :))

    A public poll would be nice, until this is what we have. And the results are pretty obvious so far...

    de la hoya was 30 when he rematched mosley and a full-time fighter back then.

    and mayweather isn't coming off a terrible streak like mosley was before he and de la hoya rematch.

    oscar is too old right now, and i doubt he can do any better this time around.
