I was really impressed as well, I've followed him for a few months now and really happy that he can hopefully get some bigger fights from now on.

Proksa has just won the European title and beating a fighter that was a world champ a fight before makes him look like hes potentially world class already, but I think it would be a good idea to let him have a couple of European title defences. The European MW scene is tough at this time anyway with Sturm and Pirog, then you have NJikam, Macklin, Barker, Golovkin, Lee, Khurtsidze.
It would be interesting to see Proksa defend against someone like Macklin who looked unlucky against Sturm recently. I have never really rated MAcklin and think Proksa would win, then maybe go for Sturm

A Pole based in England. How will the UK based Pole-bashers here at ESB survive that?

Dont think he is based in England.

He just trained out of the UK for a few years.

    Some Polish dude.

    Zbarski i believe.

He trained in the UK with Ian Johnson after leaving his former Hungarian trainer Laszlo Veras.

    SLow down turbo...you might crash.

A bit too early for Proksa to jump into the fire with someone like Martinez.

I dont think he would be ready to fight Martinez yet or Sturm or Pirog just yet. But I dont think hes far away. I think he just needs to fight a couple of frindge contenders and he could soon be there.
Other than Martinez, there isnt much outside of the tough European MW scene. Geale, well he just fought a SD with the fighter Proksa dispatched in 3 one sided rounds. Kirkland, Lemieux and Angulo have all been a bit exposed. Chavez Jnr doesnt seem to get the real big fights, so that leaves the tough European scene, with Sturm and Pirog, then you have NJikam, Macklin, Barker, Golovkin, Lee, Khurtsidze. All could be good matchups to build to a future big fight for Proksa

Sergio before Williams was a nobody, losing everytime he stepped up to elite comp.He was a late bloomer to say the least. Give a young lion like Super G some time to make a name for himself before coming to premature conclusions. Sergio had the benefit of everyone watching him on the main stage for some time now and believe me he has looked good but not untouchable. Give Proksa the same main stage and we´ll see what he has.
